Who We Are

We are faith-filled NH nurses who noticed that our patients and families were not getting the care they needed.

Have you ever felt rushed, unheard, overwhelmed, not fully cared for, or like your faith was being ignored in a healthcare situation? Us too! We saw it happening to our patients, our families, and ourselves. Numerous things are happening that lead to patients not receiving the support they need to set themselves up for success and to families with the best intentions feeling like they are drowning in trying to care for their loved ones. Kathleen, the founder of Ally RN, saw this and said, “Let’s fix this!”. Ally RN’s goal is to put healthcare back in your hands. To promote the dignity of every person. To give you time, unrestricted. To get your questions answered, and to make sure that you feel knowledgeable of your health and confident in your care.

We want to be your ally.

Kathleen Clark, RN, BSN

Kathleen is the founder of Ally RN. She comes from a large Catholic family and a diverse medical background, starting her career in emergency medicine at a young age. As a nurse, Kathleen got her start at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, serving medically complex patients, and went on to become an ICU nurse. Even in an ICU setting, Kathleen still felt that there were large gaps in care missing for patients, especially once they left the walls of the hospital. She felt that she could be doing more- spending more quality time with her patients, providing more thorough education, taking the whole person into account (especially their faith); things that a money-driven healthcare system does not allow time for. She became an infusion nurse, working in the home and clinic settings, and there found her true calling- advocacy and education. Kathleen found herself frequently working beyond the call of her job to ensure that patients were well taken care of, and decided to make that her job! Thus, Ally RN was born.

Brian Clark, RN, BSN

Brian is a co-founder of Ally RN, and also comes from a large Catholic family. He got his start in the medical field at the age of 18, where he worked as an EMT in a rural setting, perfecting his out-of-the-box thinking skills, and then worked as an LNA at Speare Memorial Hospital. He went on to become a nurse and worked with complex surgical patients at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, where he realized his true passion- pediatrics! He began working for Concord Hospital as a pediatric RN, and still works there today, bringing smiles and comfort to children on their darkest days.
